End-of-July Recall Reminder: Free Safety Label & Warranty Bonus for Your Apex or Manik PSU
As we wrap up the month of July, we want to share an important safety reminder with our community regarding Apex and Manik Power Supply Units (PSUs).
If you own an Apex Gaming PC or use an Apex or Manik PSU, please take a quick moment to check your setup. Here is everything you need to know and how you can claim a free 1-year warranty extension in the process.
⚠️ What Is the Recall About?
Apex Gaming PCs Inc. issued an official Safety Recall Notice regarding missing on-product safety warning labels on select Apex and Manik PSUs.
Important: This recall is not due to a performance defect. Your power supply unit is mechanically sound and operating as intended.
The recall addresses the absence of a permanent hazard label. Power supplies contain high-voltage internal components that retain electrical charges even after being unplugged. Opening or disassembling a PSU poses a risk of electrical shock or severe injury.
🚫 Safety Rule: Never attempt to open, disassemble, or service your power supply unit under any circumstances.
🛠️ Your Two Free Remedy Options
Apex is providing two completely free options so every customer can ensure their system is properly labeled and up to standard:
Option 1: Apply the Official Adhesive Safety Label (Fastest)
Apex will ship you an official, permanent safety sticker along with simple instructions.

Quick & Easy: Takes just a couple of minutes with zero downtime for your gaming rig.
-
Simple Steps:
-
Unplug your PC from the wall completely.
-
Turn off the power switch on the back (
Oposition). -
Remove the PC side panel (you are opening the PC case, not the power supply box).
-
Clean the existing PSU label with a dry cloth (or damp cloth, letting it dry completely).
-
Apply the new label firmly over the original for 30 seconds.
-
Verify your application online to complete the process.
-
Option 2: Request a Full Unit Replacement
If you feel uncomfortable applying the sticker yourself, Apex will coordinate a full power supply replacement with the warning label pre-applied.
-
Note: Choosing this option involves shipping your unit back and forth, which may result in 7–10 business days of PC downtime.
🎁 Bonus: Free 1-Year Warranty Extension
To thank customers for taking a few minutes to keep their setup up to code, Apex is offering a courtesy 1-year warranty extension upon verifying completion:
-
Active Warranties: Adds +1 full year onto your existing manufacturer’s warranty.
